Who we are…
Ron Toney and Libby Longstreth are the administrators of SST  Many classes are taught by Ron and Libby but many other industry experts serve as instructors as well.       

Libby Longstreth is a full time career consultant and inspector who works on warranty claims as well as on solving problems for builders, facility managers and architects.  She combines extensive experience in the carpet
industry with an academic background
in biology and chemistry including graduate work on environmental interactions in floor covering. This creates a unique "whole floor" perspective on inspection and flooring issues.

Ron Toney is one of the industry's leading presenters with a track record spanning three decades. As one of the first instructors approved by the IICRC, Ron conducts classes all over the United States and Canada. 

                  Ron  understands carpet from all perspectives.  He is widely recognized for his accomplishments in manufacturing, installation and cleaning. He has worked in all areas of carpet production, including mending and as a  tufting machine operator. He has taught the earliest certification courses and has been teaching industry course for 30 years and developed the first IICRC inspection programs.
